The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
- was a long-running TV
series (1964-68), which began as a spoof of the James Bond
movies, (which were spoofs themselves).
Not much more serious or convincing
than the Batman of that era, they caused a lot of people to suspend their
disbelief.
U.N.C.L.E. is the abbreviation for 'United Network Command for Law and Enforcement'.
|
Napoleon Solo was played by Robert Vaughn and his trusty friend, helper and sidekick, Illya Kuryakin, was played by David McCallum.
Leo G. Carroll played their boss, Mr. Waverly.
Several feature films were made up from various episodes, and did well in cinemas in some countries.
These movies are:
|
|
| "One Of Our Spies Is Missing" (1965) |
"The Spy With My Face" (1965) |
| "One Spy Too Many" (1966) |

| "The Spy In The Green Hat" (1966) |
